APPLICATION REVIEW PROCESS & SELECTION CRITERIA
Applications will be open soon.
Applications will be reviewed by an Evaluation Committee comprised of artists and arts & literary professionals. The application includes a number of questions, intended to prompt you to think about and describe the kinds of work that you might undertake at Art Kibbutz. Please answer these questions thoughtfully. You have the option of saving a draft version of the application prior to submission. The application requires work samples, which are an essential aspect of the review.
MICROGRANTS, FELLOWSHIPS, AND SCHOLARSHIPS
There is a small artist fee for all programs plus a fully refundable $100 deposit.
At chaNorth: The subsidized rate includes some food, room/studio & care-taking, Jewish learning and other programming, and one-time pick-up and drop-off at the MetroNorth train to/from NYC. Area transportation pick-up and dropoff is not provided Fees are due one month before the start of the residency. Also includes access to Governors Island presentation space during Open Studios.
On Governor's Island: This fee includes highly subsidized studio/work-space rental, presentation and sales opportunities.
We are happy to help artists seeking other funding sources with their application process.

We are calling for applications for our Pfefferman Fellowship program supported by the Oscar Pfefferman and his family to engage and financially support an East European artists to participate at Art Kibbutz's Pine Plains location for 2 weeks.
