
Robert (Bob) Fishman
Bob Fishman was the founding Executive Director of JFACT (Jewish Federation Association of Connecticut) for over 20 years following a 21 year career as a Jewish Communal Professional in the Hartford, Ct. community. His experience is in advocating for Israel and the Jewish community, Immigrant and refugee rights, interfaith and inter-ethnic coalition building, fundraising , government relations and serving as the spokesperson on Jewish issues in the state of Connecticut. He is a recipient of the Government Affairs Jewish communal professional of the year from the Jewish Federation national system. He is a long-time activist for Soviet Jewry, human rights, and civil rights. Bob started a successful Voices of Hope program in Connecticut for children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors.
Bob is married to artist and Art Kibbutz member, Susan Hoffman Fishman for 42 years and they have 2 sons and a newborn granddaughter. Bob is very happy to be part of the professional team at Art Kibbutz and looks forward to enhancing its mission.
