Bobby Mcullough
Performing and recording with a diverse list of musicians, Bobby McCullough is a bassist and guitarist who gew up in Virginia and is now based in New York City. He began playing upright bass at the age of 12 in the middle school orchestra and started playing guitar and electric bass shortly after. Bobby graduated from Radford University where he began his professional career working as a freelance bassist. He has played with such notable jazz musicians as Royce Cambell and Hod Obrien. He also performs classically in different chamber groups and has shared the stage with such notable musicians as violinists David Ehrlic and Benedict Goodfriend. Bobby also performs and records in a multitude of other genres from bluegrass to rock music, touring 5 years with Benyaro as well as backing up artists like Bucky Hayes, Deva Mahal, and Stephanie Reese.
Bobby Mcullough participated at Kobi Arad's Seeing the Voices / 57th Voters Grammy party project in October 2017 at WeWork. Bobby returned to Art Kibbutz at the 'Seeing the Voices' Benefit Party at the JCC in Harlem in March 2018.
