Supporting the facilities
Art Kibbutz NYC is looking for a home. A gift of outstanding generosity, a real estate donation is key for Art Kibbutz NYC's success. The creative process that the colony nurtures is deeply rooted in, and depends entirely on, a physical place. We are seeking a spacious mansion, an inn, a former factory or a camp (optimally with 10+ guest rooms and studio space). We are looking for locations in New York City and/or max. 1.5 hours away from the city in upstate New York (especially Westchester, Catskills and Putnam), Connecticut, Long Island.
The Colony will need to generate income to repair, restore, update, and maintain its buildings, grounds, and infrastructure to provide great conditions for the artists. The Colony will create special endowments and a Facilities Fund to upkeep and develop its facilities and expand to host larger-scale projects.
Contributors could also support the maintenance of the estate where the artists live and work. There will be options (with naming) to support the creation and maintenance of the colony’s estate and specific studios where artists work.
