Judah Goldman
Judah graduated in 2017 from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA with a double major in music and psychology. Originally trained as a classical cellist, he discovered rock guitar at age 12. That discovery opened the door to Americana, Bluegrass, Country, Irish Folk Music, the American Songbook, Jazz and more.
Judah performs solo or with a variety of bands and ensembles. He has played weddings, events, festivals and private parties from coast to coast, as well as Israel and Europe. This past summer, he garnered a grant from the city of Summit, NJ to provide outdoor entertainment. Living in Virginia immediately after college, he built up a clientele in Maryland, DC and Virginia as a professional performer for senior citizens. Throughout the region, Judah became a beloved presence, valued for his warmth, kindness and ability to present classic works of the 1920's through contemporary times. Forever refining his musical knowledge and selections, he often accompanies himself with harmonica, like his idol, Bob Dylan. Judah moved to NYC just before the start of the pandemic where he began building a local clientele. Even with the closures of so many facilities, he was able to continue to serve the senior population via Zoom, outdoor performance and even carefully distanced indoor engagements.
Judah interned at Art Kibbutz in 2019 and in 2021 returns with his band Dr. Ted and the Stone at "The Oyvven" event at Rosemarins
on Sunday, July 4th, 4:00-7:00pm.
