Art Kibbutz is committed not only to supporting artist residencies, but also multidisciplinary presentations and accompanying outreach activities that reach huge audiences. Resident artists regularly interact with local artists, community organizers, activists, and creative thinkers as well as the broadest public through lectures, discussions, exhibitions; dance, music, and theater performances, workshops, film screenings, and readings.
* Open Studios
* Festival and event participation
* Programs for Alumni artists
* Group visits
* Micro-grant art project - participating artists work with specific, designated target groups within a community, including teens, interfaith families, seniors, families with young children and college students to provide interactive programs on relevant Jewish topics.
In 2019 we are taking a “Shabbatical”, a step back from public programming to seriously explore our options to grow the organization. We are doing this with the help of Hakhel, Intentional Communities Incubator of Hazon, supported by the Ministry of Diaspora in Israel.
