Art Kibbutz hosts emerging and established Jewish artists of exceptional talent representing a wide diversity of artistic styles. The multi-generational, multi-disciplinary group of international artists would include visual artists, writers, musicians, filmmakers and small performing arts groups. We are seeking to attract artists from the United States as well as international, especially from Europe (emphasis given to Russian artists), Israel and Latin America, Australia and Asia.
We have open approach to the “Jewish connection” of participants, based more on affiliation and interest than ethno-national background. We are seeking to attract artists, who want to make “Jewish art” and “Jewish history” their own and teach it to the world.
We’d also like to open our space for artists of talent who have not done much art connected to their Jewish heritage yet, but would like to explore.
Preference will be given to artists who are committed to living in an intentional community for the given period of time. Our program is definitely open to artists with special needs.
