Sarah Sokolic
Sarah Sokolic is an educator, performer, and administrator whose 17-year career spans the arts, the non-profit sector, and the corporate world. She spent the first half of her career delivering professional development programs at Fortune 500 companies and professional service firms. Sarah then pursued a professional acting career earning credits Off Broadway and in numerous independent films, television, and commercials. Sarah was the recipient of the Best Actress Award at the 2004 Arlene's Grocery Picture Show. From 2004-2009, Sarah was the Associate Executive Director of Storahtelling, Inc. She is currently the Director of Admissions at Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County. Sarah holds an MA in Organizational Psychology from Teachers College Columbia University, and a BA in Sociology from Brandeis University. She is a lifelong Ramahnik and serves on the Executive Board of Camp Ramah in the Berkshires. Sarah lives with her husband and three children in NYC.
At Art Kibbutz Sarah participated as a member of the Jewish Plays Project team rehearsing to present excerpts from And You Shall Be A Blessing, a play with music about Debbie Friedman. The play took place on June 11th at the 14th Street Y at 10 pm as part of the Tikkun Leil Shavuot event - with Shira Kline, Naomi Less, Michael Bradley Cohen, Deborah Yarchun, Jeremy Stoller, and Max Jared.
