Shay Arick
Shay Arick (Israel) lives and works in New York and Tel Aviv. Arick earned his MFA at the San Francisco Art Institute and also holds BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. Winner of the Murphy Cadogan Contemporary Arts Award, the International Sculpture Center Outstanding Student Award, the Eileen Cooper Award For Creativity and the America-Israel Award For Excellence In Sculpture. For Art Kibbutz, Shay intends to explore the border between the mediums of collage, photography and web-based images.
At Art Kibbutz Shay created an installation that raised questions around narratives, human relations and political situations.
