Shira Holder
Shira Holder presented a hands-on art workshop to the JCC in Manhattan's 20s and 30s group on Sunday, August 21st in 2016.
In November 2017 Shira represented Art Kibbutz at the Slingshot Day where she facilitated the making of a large collaborative drawing. She helped participants explore how a community could connect and create through shared interests, art and image-making. She held a brief study session to develop a mindful approach to the project founded on Jewish values and practices, focusing on the Torah’s fundamental concept of “loving your fellow as yourself”. After the program the work was divided into manifold pieces and distributed to the participants for free.
Shira returned to Art Kibbutz's Seeing the Voices as a participating artist in August 2017.
